What do I need to use Bizum?
All you need is a Spanish bank account (IBAN) at any of the banks that offer the service, as well as a mobile phone number. On your bank's app or on the Openbank app, just sign up for the service and you’re all set to enjoy Bizum.
Can I send a bizum abroad?
The service only currently operates in Spain and Andorra (with Spanish banks linked to Bizum).
What is the minimum and maximum amount that I can send by Bizum?
- Limits per transaction: you can send between €0.50 and €1,000 in each transaction.
- Number of bizums: you can send an unlimited number of transactions; however, you can only send a maximum number of €2,000 a day.
- Monthly amount: you can send a maximum amount of €5,000 a month by Bizum. Plus, you can receive or request a maximum of 60 transactions a month and receive up to €2,000 a day.
